Song of the Sami Wall Art
Original Framed Fabric Art
Known as the people who walk with reindeer, the Sami are a shamanistic society who have lived together, loved their families, sung their “laavole” stories set to music in the far northern regions of Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia for the last 6,000 years.
This is an original stitched fabric art creation made entirely of colorful cotton fabrics, fused in place then machine stitched to add additional detail and dimension. It is stretched around a foam board, then framed in a lightweight 1.5 inch standard black frame without glass so the texture of the fabrics can be appreciated.
Finished size 26″x32″ including frame, ready to hang.
